About

Just your average distance runner with an addiction to Pole Fitness, Ashtanga yoga, traveling, biking, swimming, cooking, knitting, writing…the list goes on! I began running in 2007, and ran my first marathon in 2008. Running often takes me all over the country as I’m slowly working towards running a marathon in each state and running a sub-3 hour marathon. Follow me to read random ramblings on races, my hobbies, and life in general.

    1. LOL! Haven’t been able to touch that PR since last year though, I got a little bit close in Chicago last fall but no luck. So when I figure it out I will definitely let you know!😂😂

  1. New to your blog – but I saw you’re running the Monumental so I had to comment! I looove this race! I’m running the Indianapolis Marathon this weekend, but I decided I couldn’t miss the Monumental, either so I’ll be there too! You chose a great Indy race! Also, you are super speedy – love your blog!

  2. Hi Allison,

I’m working on a story for Women’s Running online about Race Pacing and read your blog about pacing tips. Would you be interested in a quick interview? Email me at amanda.casanova10 (at) gmail.com. Thanks!
